i always get spilt ends from using my straightener. what kind will prevent that from happening? and what causes my hair to get split ends? i use a ceramic one. and sometimes a metal plate one. What kind of straightener wont give you split ends?
The kiyoseki is the best straightner in the world trust me on this one.It can straighten and it can curl your hair if you want. And also when it hot outside your hair stays straight it will not frizz outside. This iron is also healthy for your hair.My hair is poofy frizzy SUPER curly and it works so good on my hair. I really cant live without it. To so see the commercial and reviews go to www.kstyler.com and if you have any questions you can always email me hope this helped.=)

What kind of straightener wont give you split ends?
Well hmm i recommend not using a metal plate one as they dry and damage hair much faster. There are different methods you could try until you find the right one for you.

Firstly you could begin with buying a straightener that uses your natural hair oil when straightening to leave a smoother finish. Good ones include GHD, Sedu but unfortunately come with a price.

You could also try a pomade on your hair like that of VO5 before and after you straighten which will mosturize not only your ends but the whole hair.

If not try spraying mist on each clump of hair when you straighten and avoid using too much gel as the heat of the straightner can occasionally end up burning it.

Be sure that your conditioning your hair relatively and are using good conditioners for your hair type but also know that washing your hair too much drys it significantly.

But in the end, straightening will always result in some form of hair damage but hopefully by using these tips it wont be as bad. Oh and you could also trim the ends once in a while. Hope ive Helped : )
If you have layers or just at the bottom of your hair the split ends you already have at the end might puff out. For that you just hold the straightener in place for a little while.

As for not getting any split ends, you should use a shampoo/conditioner/cream that treats you hair and helps against split ends and damage.

Here are some sites of products:

Hope I helped you =)
Someone told me that if you plan on straightening your hair you shouldn't use one unless it cost over $100 and it has holes to let the steam escape! I guess they can be very damaging. I use conair wich is considered a good brand i guess, but it has given me split ends. I would deffinately talk to a hair dresser.
the remington wet to straight is the best one i've ever used and it was really cheap! As for the split ends, just use a heat protector or straightening serum to help minimize the damage. =]
All straighteners damage your hair. You can't avoid it unless you stop using them completely. : )

I have Remmington Wet 2 Straight. I put the TRESemme hair-protection product on before I use it and it helps! : DD
the imaginary kind! LOL!
every straightener damagesyour hair in some way.
Use one that has steam coming out of it while you straighten you hair.
I like the remmington Wet 2 straight
