What stretches and exercises will help me be more flexible to be able to do the splits';?WHAT STEPS TO I NEED TO TAKE TO BE ABLE TO DO THE SPLITS?
Lunges on the floor, oversplits (putting your front leg on a raised surface and then doing your split), holding on to something above you rather than using your hands on the floor to balance you when you do a split (like, in my dance class we would hold on to the barre and do a split underneath it). And most importantly... stretch it every day! Do them before bed or when you wake up in the morning. but that's the only way you'll get them down. Good luck! Just have some patience. I just hold a split on the floor for a lil while about 5 Min's cause if you hold it for to long you could pull a muscle or it will start to hurt. Then ill sit with my legs spread apart and reach for the middle as far as i can for about another 5 min's.

You already know what you need to do. Now you just have to a lot of it. A good 30 - 45 minutes of sketching three times a day. Don't force the stretch you will pull something and that is like almost having to start over after it heals.
well for one...u can do the splits as low as u can for about 10 minutes i guess...and u can just stretch as much u can....just do...WHATEVER!
