Splitting your workouts?

is it better to work out each body part once a week, or just do upper body one day, and lower body the other?

and are biceps necessary to work out? it looks more like a waste of muscle to me, triceps seem more important....Splitting your workouts?
Ask 10 people and you'll probably get 10 different answers on how to split it.

Honestly, it comes down to personal choice %26amp; how fast your body recovers.

Both biceps %26amp; triceps get hit as auxiliary muscles in other lifts. Whether you work them or not is another matter of choice. Check out http://www.exrx.net to see what exercises hit what muscles.Splitting your workouts?
Lol at biceps. Biceps were the most overrated muscle and I just want to ignore it and not be those kids showing their ';guns';. Then as I continued to workout and other muscles started to get bigger, I saw that my biceps needed to be worked out.

It depends on your goal and experience. Beginners can work on ';beginner gains'; and try for twice a week then later work towards once a week increasing the number of sets and reps you do as well as volume.

Some people, due to their weekly schedule, work once or twice a week. A lot of these are full body workouts. Usually a person has three days a week to workout and splits their muscles evenly so they work them once a week. So they can either do two full body workouts or upper then lower body.

But if you can dedicate three days a week I personally believe that's better and if you want a plan for that you can email me at mrkarica113@yahoo.com.
Yes, split your workout.

Do two body parts every other day.

1) Bicep and Shoulders

2) Rest

3) Chest and Triceps

4) Rest

5) Legs and Back

6) Rest

7) Party

Biceps are as important as triceps. Good luck.
