Is it possible that you could be to old to learn how to do a split? I'm in my teens, I could do one when I was so much younger! Tips on how to learn please!How to learn to do a split?
1. first see how far you can go down before it begins to hurt you.
2.once you know how far you can go stretch everyday before trying it again for about a week or so
3.when stretching it important to focus on your hamstrings and thighs this well allow the muscle to be stretched farther
4. after about a week you should be able to go farther then last time
5. repeat 1-4 till your able to do the splitsHow to learn to do a split?
i'm a teen, and i'm still learning how to do them completly. one way to do it is just try to do the splits when your doing homework, watching tv, ect. another is sitting up against the wall and spread your legs apart, and have someone get back-to-back with you and push you back. also, you can lay on your back with your legs in the air, spread them apart, and get two people to push your legs towards the floor like the splits and stop when it hurts really bad.
Dont forget to stretch first!
a teen is not old but yes you can relearn splits! do gravity splits every night and hold it till u feel the burn. you can also do heel stretches where you grab your heel (sitting or standing which ever you feel comfortable) and push your heel up towards the celing and agian you'll feel a burn right away.
yah u cud totally still do it. lets say u want 2 work on the right splits. bend over like you r touching ur toes but grab ur elbows instead of touching the ground. bend the left leg but keep your heels on the ground. hang there for about 20-30 seconds and do this thru out the day. eventually u will b able 2 do the splits.
on the ground- sit on ur left leg, point ur toes, keep your legs straight and reach for ur toes. stay there for 20-30 seconds. try repeatedly thru out the day.
