How do i get rid of split ends?

i just recently cut my hair and i still have really bad split ends. is there something i can do to repair them? i dont want to cut my hair again cause i will have to cut it extremely short to get rid of them.How do i get rid of split ends?

-brushing your hair a lot gives you split ends


-blow drying will hurt your hair so you should use a product before- drugstore


-wearing your hair up will break hairs, causing split ends


-you should get a good shampoo.. like a repairing one- drugstore or hairdressers


-STRIAGHTENING will give you split ends too.. so use a product





you shouldnt wash your hair everyday, if you can help it

sorry but the only way to get rid off them is too get your hair cut every six weeks. if you want the quick fix yes get your hair cut short but you may still have some split ends. what I done was get it cut shot well into a bob then cut every six weeks for a year and yes it can take that long did for me ps I tryed all the creams and oils on the market they do not work save your money
cut them off and then go tell a hair stylist
Just don't go to their shows. They'll go away eventually...

You can buy something from a salon. They might have something at a regular store but a prof product would prob be better. There are special repairing conditioners and stuff like that.

cut them off, there are no products out there that will ';mend'; them.

the obvious answer to this question is to ';cut them off.'; and honestly, it really is the only way to completely get rid of them.





there are ways to minimize the looks of the split ends and ';repair'; them but they'll never truly be ';repaired.'; i highly recommend using Aussie's 3-Minute Miracle. it's a deep-conditioning treatment that you can use once a week (or more if you want). any type of deep-conditioning treatment will be effective, though.





as a matter of fact, i just used 3-Minute Miracle! it makes your hair SO SOFT. and since i'm growing my hair out i don't want to cut mine either. it helps a lot with split ends and such.
Once the hair has split you can't repair them. You either need to have it cut again or let it grow a bit then go back for a trim. Have your hair trimmed regularly to keep your hair split end free.
try doing a 'dry' trim. when hair is dry trim the hairs that have split ends or have someone else do it if you can get to the hair in the back. you wont be cutting too much off to make a diference in the length. I did this in between my hair appt to get rid of some split ends and they arent there anymore.

There is no way to get rid of them, just to prevent them... cut them shorter, just alittle and use a really good shampo, and a leave in conditioner.
best way is to cut them. but if you dont want a short hair everytime they show up, you can treat your hair for a hot-oil treatment, if your short on a budget just buy the cream and apply it on ur hair, if you dont have a steamer for you head. wrap your hair with a warm towel and let it sit for about an hour. you can do this once a week until your hair seem ok then you can reduce it to once a month usage.


i recommend loreal or VO5.


oh and dont brush your hair when its still wet. its best to use a big-teeth combs. brushes for wet hair makes your hair brittle.
