Does smoking heroin give cause for developing a split personality?

what things are considered necessary when supporting someone coming off heroin. and how do you know if the support is serving it's purpose or giving the opposite effect with the supporter having little knowledge heroin users. are there obvious signs that show that suggest the support is not helping?Does smoking heroin give cause for developing a split personality?
Everyone is different the only way to do it is trial and error however there are some obvious constants

Dont let the take any more of the drug.

Be there for them emotionaly.

Educate them to the dangers of the drug.

Never Make any attack on there morale Dont call them skum or any other nasty things Such things serve to lower there Morale/ happynes And make them want to escape in the drugs again try to keep them happyDoes smoking heroin give cause for developing a split personality?
Heroin is a complete body drug, it does not have very much to do with the brain. True, the situations its adherants find themselves in are not good, but that is the 1972 dangerous drugs act for you, it created much more junkies than leaving things alone would ever do. It has only put the supply and regulation of drugs in the hands of criminals, but I digress. Just as some one is a junkie does not mean they cannot have any sort of psychological affectation.

Also, the main thrust of giving it up is that you must be single minded, it is like learning a new language, believe me. They are there to support but not to carry, don't confuse what you want with what is being offered. Relax.
I haven't got time for a long answer, but what do you mean by a split personality. Many people get this wrong. We as psychologists, when we say split personality mean a split from reality, and not mulitple personality disorder, which is something else. Its important that your definition is correct.
i watched a documentry about boy george in high school ya know the song karma karma karma chameleon and he had it really bad eight months to live i don't think that is a way to live a life so i say get help right away before anything happens to u or your family i think there is a narccotic anomous groups like at churches or just a group at a clinic

so i hope u make the right choices and hopefully you'll succeed some people go back and forth with the addiction and some come out just

fine some yrs later go on it again so take care
I smoked heroin and I don't have a split personality, yes I do, no I don't, yes I do, no I don't, yes I do.

All of that support crap is for losers. When there's no support you just have to do it on your own.

I am just going to answer your original question. NO. I don't know where you would have heard that but it does not cause that or anything like that.
DONT take drugs fullstop you either end up dead or looking like your dead ';personally i dont have time for DRUG USER'S
yes please don't smoke is not good may cancel you noo nooo me mooajckashd
Addicts typically lose much of their sense of decency and in my experience Heroin addicts can be very labile. For example, my brother at one point accused me of stealing his rent money and stole money from my grandmother. It sounds to me like the person in question may be using you as a way to justify his addiction. By blaming you for his slip-ups, he can avoid taking responsibility for himself and cleaning up his act. But also keep in mind that he's fighting a desperate struggle and may be lashing out as a consequence, and that while it's not the norm some people routinely become angry and even violent when they withdraw from Heroin.
