Ok, I am a girl! It isn't supposed to hurt for me, not to mention I see gymnasts on Tv doing it frequently with no effect. I don't need to mention how embarrassing it is, but I want to know how others deal with it?Have you ever split the beam? How did you keep from losing face? How do you recover?
I had split the beam many times back when I was a gymnast. It's something to be expected when you work on beam, so please don't feel so embarrassed by it. Everyone splits the beam once in a while.
But it does hurt, even if you're a girl. As for the gymnasts on tv, not only have they done that sort of thing many times before, but you've also got to remember that what you're watching on tv most of the time are competitions. Things are very different in a competition than they are in practice. Being a competitive gymnast myself a couple years back, I know how nerves and concentration can effect things such as pain. In front of a judge, you loose yourself in your routines. So you may do something such as splitting the beam, and yeah while it may hurt a bit, you probably won't be feeling the full brunt of it until later on.
As for dealing with the pain... ice is the best cure for beam bites. ^.^Have you ever split the beam? How did you keep from losing face? How do you recover?
im on my bfs comp. but i have split the beam more times than i can count... it hurts us too... and can even break your pelvic bone... you just learn how to take the pain and how to catch yourself so it doesnt hurt... you will normally see a girl grab the beam right before she crashes on it... youll pick it up quickly... as for losing face... you dont... it happens to everyone in the female gymnastics world... brush it off... get right back up... and do the stunt again so you dont develope a fear of it =)

How do you get rid of sores on the split of your lips?
for some reason, I have these sores on the crease of my lips
they hurt realy bad
and its from having like dry lips to long (even though I don't)
Ive tried everything to keep them from getting worse and it doesn't go away
Their painful and annoying

I have seen a lot of these types of vitamin deficiencies in the third world where breads are made by the local baker or made at home and then taken to the local baker for baking... the breads lack the added minerals so people develop all kinds of vitamin problems.

Just got a new TV which has integrated freeview, so the old freeview box went to the upstairs TV. Only problem is, it uses the old aerial, and so cannot recieve digital TV. I have REALLY long legs and I'm super skinny so I don't know why I can't do them.
And I do palates all the time and stretch and stuff but it doesn't help.How can I get myself to do the splits?
Having long legs and being skinny doesnt make the slightest bit of difference to how flexible you are. You need to not only be stretching but be stretching in the correct places to learn to do the splits. Just keep trying, every day, for months and months and you should find yourself getting a little bit closer each week.
You could also get a friend to push GENTLY on you legs as you lie on your back to increase the stretch (youtube has some useful instructional videos).

A patch is an add on for a game, and if available would be on the PS3 store. Last time I looked, there were add ons for games there, but none for split screen. Its unlikely that you do do something like that in a patch, its a pretty demanding set of coding to animate two halves of the screen seperately, and would probably have to be done in the original game code. At least I have never heard of any game on any system that managed to do split screen as an add on.

I want to play PC games online with 2 computers on my broadband connection but whenever I try to, one computer cuts out the other and gets all the bandwidth. You can not spilt an internet line like a tv line, it does not work the same way. You can one of two things.
1) If you have an extra Network Interface Card (NIC) in one of the computers, you can connect the modem to one computer then another ethernet cable between the two computers. Then you would use the wizard in My Network Places to configure them properly. Now I am not 100% sure on this, but I think a regular ethernet cable will do for this (a regular one being a straight through ethernet cable) but if it does not work then a cross-over ethernet cable is needed. If the straight through does work, then thats great but the cross-over cable also allows you share files between your computer. Cross-over and straight through cables cost about the same amount or the cross-over cable is a little more expensive. (To help you more in this, cross-over cables are usually yellow but as long as the packaging says cross-over then the colour of the casing doesn't matter)
2) Buy a regular router. It can be a wireless one or non-wireless one. Keep in mind that the wireless one has the same features as a non-wireless router except it is wireless. You can even shut off the wireless on the router if you want. All you do to setup up this situation is connect the modem to the router then the PCs to the router. There will be configuration needed but the routers will come with manuals and online support as well if you need help. I recommend either D-Link or Linksys routers. I personally like Linksys routers and its configuration wizard is easier to use, making your life easier.
Make sure both computers are connected to a switch and not a hub. Windows QOS packet scheduler will then manage the data transfer.

Parents doing the split custody thing long distance?
How do you cope with sending your child to be with the other parent? We just sent my step-daughter to her mother in another state yesterday and it tore us up. She's not mine biologically but it hurts so bad to know she won't be here for Christmas. We do have primary custody and that's by her mother's choice. I think the thing you have to focus on is that its best for the child to have a relationship with both parents and you are doing the best thing for your step daughter to encourage a relationship with her mother.

I guess people just get used to it. My sister seems to view it as a nice break but I would go nuts. Thankfully my husband and I are together (12 1/2 years now) and happily married.
Fortunately me and my kids father live in the same state. But think of your step-daughter, and how she might feel and miss her mom. You can still call and wish her a Happy Christmas. I'm sure if you treat her as if she was your own that it won't feel like getting a break from her.

Hitler also saw the Russians were pulling in personnel from as far away as the Eastern Siberia coast with all this offense activity. Adolf's appeals to the Japanese to start a Russian invasion were unheeded. By 1943, the Japanese wouldn't have the petroleum reserves to project their forces on broad fronts.
I don't think hitlers main objective was to capture Russia. I believe he was just giving russia a warning or something or probably sizing them up. He was fixated on capturing Britain. I think if his navy was stronger he would have succeded in owning Britain and France. Also, if he had captured Britain it would have been much harder for USA to join the fight.
His initial intention was to caputure the Caucuses for the oil and resources after the defeat of Moscow. On the way he believed he could take Stalingrad with a small diversion. Of course it soon became clear that the Wehrmacht were bogged down in fierce fighting. It was pure arrogance.
Hitler split his troops because he really wanted to take the oil fields in the Caucasus region. He sent half his force south to take it, and Paulus was left with a force to weak to accomplish his objectives.
Hitler was a competent officer, not a great commander. And he was somewhat nuts.

I live in a two bedroom with my sister and her boyfriend. We get along great but i pay half the rent and they basicly own the whole place aside from my room. Am I getting ripped?Should we split rent three ways or two?
First of all, i would say she is your sister first and only then your flatmate! If she and her boyfriend are earning more than you or if you are in a tight economic situation because of this issue, I would suggest that you discuss this with your sis explaining it to her.Otherwise, i would say let it be....she is your sister, she would NEVER imagine ripping her brother!!well, as for the part of the whole house being occupied by them, it is easy to sort that out!Do what you would do in your house as it is yours too.Should we split rent three ways or two?

I would take the total square footage of the apartment and divide that by the total monthly bill. That gives cost/footage number
Then take the total area and subtract the bedrooms for a ';common area'; figure.
You pay for your bedroom plus 1/3 of the common area cost. While your sister and b/f pay for thier bedroom and 2/3 of the common area cost.
Thats how i have had to do things in the past with roommates and it seemed to work out for the best. none of the ';well, we share the bedroom so we only count as one person'; or any of that BS.
There is a little wiggle room with how pays utilies and if there is an garage stall or other amenities that cant really be split up.
If your sis and b/f are not willing to come to an agreement then I think it would be time to start looking for another place.

%26amp; i used it for 3 days my hair is shinny, i have hardly ANY spilt ends. it totally worked for me :D
Sadly no. Science has not found a way to make the split hair cuticles ';stick'; back to the rest of the hair they belong to. Until then, the only product you can buy is scissors. :( If you cut off the split it will not split even further, which is all you can hope for.
When science DOES figure this one out, I would be willing to pay quite a lot for whatever they invent -- and I'd fight people to be at the front of the line too. ;)
their ISN't a product that can take off split ends but their are products to prevent them from being so bad or soften them....the ONLY way to stop them is by trimming your hair....try hot oil treatment if you want really nice and healthy hair (you did not say if you where black or white...if you are white i think that you all can still do the same thing)

Heroin is a complete body drug, it does not have very much to do with the brain. we nearly split about 4 months ago buy i went back as I had no option, We can't sell the flat yet, ( apparently u haver to wait a few years or something??) and even if I could sell the flat he wouldnt agree to it, he told me last time he wouldnt let me sell it and would make it hard for me

What is a polite way to offer to split the bill on a first date ? ?
I know that it is proper for the asker to pay for the meal, however I also feel obligated to offer to pay. Since it is no longer the ';good old days'; and going ';dutch'; is increasingly popular. How would one phrase the question without seeming rude ? What is a polite way to offer to split the bill on a first date ? ?
I just usually go with a random assortment of bills in my purse, then when the bill comes I just usually reach for it first take a look at what my half is (or ballpark it from the menu when I order) and just take out the money and put it on the check.
If they say nothing, they're cool with it. I've been handed back the money a time or two, but at least I put up my part.
Basically, assume it's dutch. I wouldn't want to assume that the other person is paying. What is a polite way to offer to split the bill on a first date ? ?
When the check comes simply reach for it or if they are too fast start pulling out your wallet/purse. If they don't take the hint just ask how much do I owe. I would also suggest only insisting once then asking are you sure, if they decline, then let them have it.

My son's name is SRI SAI DURGA NAGA SWARAJ AKHILESH PACHIGOLLA. PACHIGOLLA is surname. Hence, it is last name.

Sri %26amp; Sai seem to be a titles, from my memory of hindi/sanskrit- I would say that Durga would be his first name, unless you would like Sai to be his first name.
Pachilgolla would be his last name %26amp; the others would all be middle names.

If she and her boyfriend are earning more than you or if you are in a tight economic situation because of this issue, I would suggest that you discuss this with your sis explaining it to her.Otherwise, i would say let it be....she is your sister, she would NEVER imagine ripping her brother!!well, as for the part of the whole house being occupied by them, it is easy to sort that out!Do what you would do in your house as it is yours too.Should we split rent three ways or two?
I hate to sound like my high school math teachers but here is the deal I would put forth.
I would take the total square footage of the apartment and divide that by the total monthly bill. That gives cost/footage number
Then take the total area and subtract the bedrooms for a ';common area'; figure.
You pay for your bedroom plus 1/3 of the common area cost. While your sister and b/f pay for thier bedroom and 2/3 of the common area cost.
Thats how i have had to do things in the past with roommates and it seemed to work out for the best. none of the ';well, we share the bedroom so we only count as one person'; or any of that BS.
There is a little wiggle room with how pays utilies and if there is an garage stall or other amenities that cant really be split up.
If your sis and b/f are not willing to come to an agreement then I think it would be time to start looking for another place.
The answer lies in your question. They own the house whole place. You get to pay whatever they ask. If you don't like the price, you are free to look elsewhere. Is half fair? Who can be the judge of that. Only you.

Can you find a better place for lesser rent if the negotiation fails and the relationship goes sour?

Format the cell to percentage and there you go. Note where I wrote CELL1 replace it with the cell coordinates.

i started ballet a few weeks ago, and the main thing we're focusing on is getting our splits all the way down to the floor.
i warm up and stretch correctly (i usually do this for about an hour). but after im done and i stay still for a while, the bone where my hip and leg are connected pops. and it hurts sooooo bad. is this kinda normal, or it is possible that im causing damage to my body?Is this normal when trying to achieve a split?

I stopped doing sports in 04 and went to musical instruments. I am about to to Taw Kwon Doe, and my friend has told me that I will be able to do the splits. Although I dont belive her. Can you please give me ideas why she would say that..What sports will help you to do the splits?

Your friend is right aside from Gymnastics, Tae Kwon Do focuses on kicks and that means for you to achieve a higher kick than most people, you have to workout on the flexibility of your legs to achieve that. Tae Kwon Do would allow you to achieve splits based on the type of training that they do.

Is the signal too weak for my to split the cable between my internet and 3 tvs?
I have digital cable for my TV and internet. There is one cable line in my house which is split between 2 TVs and the modem. Last night I tried to split the cable again at the modem so I could connect another TV. The cable I used was a 50ft video cable (it was the only one I had handy, but I really only need about 2 feet of cable), but when I hooked it back up to the modem, I did not get any internet signal (which is usually very strong). What was my problem?? Would it maybe work if I used a shorter cable so the signal would not have to travel so far? Or a better quality cable splitter? Is there any hope? I had the same problem and I had to get the cable company to put in a booster. It cost about $75 and works great. I had 2 modems and 3 TVs on it. I recently had to get another one for downstairs because of 1 more modem and 2 more TVs. It`s a one time charge so it`s not bad. Go to Radio Shack and buy signal magnifier every thing will work fast.
I just had my cable hooked up and the cable guy said the Internet is on different frequency even though it still comes from the same cable line. Yours may be the same.
Your problem is likely your splitter as well as the long cable. The splitter is the greatest source of loss in any cable TV setup. Each connector also induces a small amount of loss. So if the cable you used was old and had ends that might have been in poor shape then you will end up inducing more loss than would a new connector. The splitter you use should support no more than the required number of cable outputs. So if you only need two then you should definitely only use a splitter with two outputs. So if you have a spare splitter try that first but definitely use a shorter cable.
Smaller Cables. But i would suggest running a new cable one for your tv's and one for the net alone (For best results).

Randy Orton sucks, cant win a match without his two girls or without cheating. Yah I guess that answers it. But I gotta say Ted and Cody should definately stay a tag team, their actually really good.
They want to keep randy into main eventing and put ted and cody into singles competition. They had enough sheltering from randy i think there ready to go out on there own and win some singles titles.
They are splitting up legacy because they want Cody Rhodes to work on being a singles competitor instead of a lackey. And I predict that legacy will live on with Orton, Ted Diabese, and Brett Diabese

My hair is 'broken' at the ends (not split, broken). I used to use a straightener a lot. How do you fix this?
I used to use a straightener almost every day, but in the last few weeks I've stopped doing that. I was wondering if there is something else I have been doing to cause my hair to break like this? If you've stopped using straighteners then you're on the road to recovery. Constant heat can damage your hair and beak it off. Hair breaks off at the ends because that's the oldest, weakest, and driest parts of your hair. The ends have been through everything you've done to your hair, so you have to be careful and take very good care of them because they're more fragile than the rest of your hair. Also, straightening further dries and damages your already dry ends. Start doing protein treatments to strengthen your hair and help repair the damage. Hot oil treatments with natural olive oil will help, too - this is a natural way to help repair damaged hair. I'd also start doing deep conditioning treatments weekly and start buying strengthening or anti-breakage hair products. Cut out heat altogether, which means stop blow drying and using flat irons, and let your hair air dry, instead.My hair is 'broken' at the ends (not split, broken). I used to use a straightener a lot. Use a heat protection spray for drying and straightening. Go to a hairdressers and get your hair trimmed. Use the straighteners less and use a hair conditioning mask once a week and it should get back into good condition soon and stop breaking :)

Our school district is splitting up the 6ty, 7th, and 8th grade. The part that stinks is two of my absolute best and closest friends are going to one school, and I'm going to the other. There's a boy involved of course, and guess where he's going? The school that I'm not. When we talked about it he said, '; I'm going to miss poking you';. Well, that doesn't make me feel better. It's just that we don't hang out as much as we used to and I'm really upset about this. People just don't understand how much it stinks.
