Is it possible for a person with a split personality to know about their other self and communicate with it?

I just thought it was a interesting concept and was just curious.Is it possible for a person with a split personality to know about their other self and communicate with it?
I worked with a woman who has at least 4, personalities we could count and she didn't know her other egos. She even had a male personality. One cleaned out her bank account and even when she was shown the video of her signing the forms she didn't recognize it as herself.Is it possible for a person with a split personality to know about their other self and communicate with it?
Every one is talking to himself that is what is called thinking.Subject - object relationship is thought and its programming.
a person with split personality may come to know that he/she has a split personality but may never be able to communicate with their alter-ego. the reason is, at each moment when their personality changes, their mind changes too, forgetting all impressions and memories of the previous personality. thus the person is not able to remember anything they did during their alter-ego.
