Iv been trying my whole life..and im a little on the heavy side but the other day i saw this girl that weighed at least 200 pounds do one...How can you teach your body to do a split...how to you become flexiable like that..i really want to lean how to do oneIs it possible for me to learn how to do a split?

It is a yoga sort of thing. You stretch every day. GENTLY and gradually your body will change to be able to do it. I recommend doing yoga anyway as it does the same thing to all of you. If you are heavy, you may have to be more cautious than someone lighter would. We heavy people tend to not bend and stretch enough. I think you have to work on the whole body instead of just the thighs and hips to do this. Have fun. Be patient. It will happen.
stretching muscle and lots of daily practice and with time you will be able to do them. and y do you wana do them lol is it really that important to you

Yeah, it's probably possible. As long as you keep on stretching every day, and keep up with it dilligently and work on your flexibility you can probably do it. I've always been on the heavy side but I'm still more flexible than the average person I think (although I haven't been able to do the splits since about 5th grade I think, it's mostly because I didn't bother to practice). There are two kinds of splits, the easier one (in my opinion) is putting your legs out to your sides and the harder one is putting one leg out in front of you and one leg out in back. To do them, every day just stretch your legs as far apart as you can get them and hold them there for like 30 seconds, and every day you'll get just a little bit better :) Practice really does work
It might take a while.
but, if you strecth every day and work hard
you will increase your flexibilty and be able to do them.
Dont over stretch yourself, because you'll have no chance.
Just do bit it y bit.. :)
Get Pavel's book about stretching from Amazon.com used. He explains it all. I started at 30 and could do the splits by 32 years of age. Two years of 3 days a week, 10 minutes a day. Its possible.
