I have split my robo dwarf hamsters because they were fighting but won't they get lonely?

Dwarf hamsters can sometimes ';Live in harmony'; together unlike syrian hamsters who will become very protective.

Is one female? or both? Females tend to fight more than males.. but if they are both males no they wont get lonley as long as they are given attention. Hamster like human attention just as much if not more than hamsterly attention! :) Good luckwith your cuddly fur balls. :) lolI have split my robo dwarf hamsters because they were fighting but won't they get lonely?
If they were fighting that is a sign the ones you have gotten prefer to be alone and are of a solitary type of this breed. Don't worry about them being lonely just spend time with them and they should be fine in their own cages.
No. Hamsters are solitary little souls and will live out their two or so years in happy solitude.
nah if you give them plently of attention they will be fine i have 1 hamster once and i loved him and well i thought he was happy :D give them lots of fresh veg they like that
Roborovski dwarf hamsters are typically better in pairs. They can get by alone but do like companionship. If they are fighting it might be related to a territory -alpha- complex. The time apart can help them- like siblings- but they are recommended to be together- I work at Petsmart and we are tested on knowing everything there is to know- no joke.....and we keep 16 robo female hamsters in one cage and they do fine.
Hi, No they prefer to live apart, you have done the right thing to split them as they fight to the death. Give them lot's of toys to play with mine love to run through the inner of a toilet roll.
If they are fighting they obviously don't like living togrther, My friend had those hamsters together and one of them ate the other!
They will be fine, just give them lots of fuss.
If your hamsters are fighting then it would be best for you to split them up. If you feel guilty then just put them together and as soon as they start to fight take one away and put them back the next day so this might make you feel better and they won't get lonely because they will be together until they fight. But if they are fighting continuously then you should watch to see who is attack the other one more and get it checked out because it might be a danger to you or your other hamster
