How do you split large movie files in half using windows movie maker

How do you split large movie files in half by using windows movie maker and then saving it up in the hard disc...been trying to do that...any idea how?How do you split large movie files in half using windows movie maker
1) Import the movie into Movie Maker.


2) Switch to Timeline view.


3) Drag the movie onto the timeline.


4) On the timeline, click where you want to cut the video.


5) Click the ';Split'; button on the right side of the window.


6) Click the section that you want to remove temporarily, and press the ';Ctrl'; and ';X'; keys.


7) Publish the remaining section to your computer. Don't just save the project - the options to publish the movie should be on the left side of the window.


8) When the movie is done publishing, click on the remaining clip in Movie Maker.


9) Press the ';Delete'; key.


10) On the timeline, press the ';Ctrl'; and ';V'; keys.


11) Publish the last section.
