In the house we currently have 2 cable boxes, 1 modem for high speed internet and soon I will get a tv for my kid's room. But, instead of paying for more channels there are channels such as disney, nickelodeon etc when I tried split cable. Does comcast allow you to do this?Does Comcast Allow you to Split Cable to other rooms?
yes, but you can only get basic cable channels on the split, and the more you split the signal the weaker it is so if you want to split it all over the house you may need to get a signal amplifier.Does Comcast Allow you to Split Cable to other rooms?
no trust me they don't allow it. We had that done in our living room and had it going to our room also and we ran into some problems and had to call them to come fix it and they saw that we had split it and told us that its illegal and that we had to remove it or we can get fined...and we had no idea! so they let us off with a warning.
Sure, comcast will allow you to do this, but you'll only get the basic analog channels(varies by area, but generally close to 70ish channels). You'll need to pay extra per digital box, if you want any digital channels.
yes you can they did it for me for free i had the splitters and they ran the wires and all and they just connected it on the outside of my house and run the wires professionally.but you can only get like 78 channels because of no digi box..
I think you have to pay for it, unless you know how to do it yourself. But don't tell them or they'll make it so you have to pay for each.
I don't think they care any more, but an anonymous phone call should get you the correct answer
